What is a lash lift?
A lash lift is a semi-permanent treatment that curls and lifts your natural lashes, making them appear longer and more defined
How long does a lash lift last?
Results typically last 6 to 8 weeks, depending on your natural lash growth cycle and aftercare routine.
What is the difference between lash lifts and lash extensions?
Lash extensions add individual synthetic lashes to your natural ones for extra volume and length.
A lash lift works with what you already have—gently lifting and curling your natural lashes for a wide-eyed, effortless look. Results vary depending on your lash length, eye shape, and the type of silicone shield used to shape your lashes to your desired style.
Can a lash lift damage my natural lashes?
Nope—not when it’s done right. At Bonita Lifts, your lash health always comes first. We use a gentle system that actually nourishes your lashes while lifting.
Your appointment also includes complimentary conditioning treatments and sealants with every lift. Plus, you'll be educated through easy aftercare to keep them strong and thriving between appointments.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
For the best results, come with clean lashes—no eye makeup, mascara, or concealer around the eyes. Please skip the lash curler for at least 24 hours before your appointment, and if you wear contacts, make sure to remove them beforehand or bring a case to take them out in-studio.
What is the aftercare following the lash lift procedure?
For the first 24 hours:
Keep your lashes dry for minimum 6 hours — no water, steam, or sweat. Avoid mascara, lash curlers, rubbing your eyes, or sleeping on your face. Let that final hydrating serum soak in and do its thing.
After 24 hours:
Be gentle! Avoid waterproof mascara (regular is fine), skip the lash curler, and try not to rub or tug at your lashes. For best results, we recommend using a daily lash conditioner to keep your lashes nourished and strong—it's available to purchase in-studio if you need one!
What sets your Lash Lift Infusion apart from other lash lifts?
Most traditional lash lifts are pretty simple—just two main steps: a lifting solution to shape the lashes and a setting solution to hold them in place. Sometimes a tint or quick conditioner is added, but that’s usually it. While it does give a curl, it often leaves out any real nourishment or protection, which can lead to dryness or long-term damage.
Here’s where things shift:
-
Traditional lifts typically use stronger perming solutions (TGA) and focus on curling from the base to the mid-lash.
-
Korean lash lift techniques (what we use) are gentler, using a cysteamine-based solution applied from root to tip for a smoother, more dramatic curl that’s kinder to your lashes.
At Bonita Lifts, we take it a step further with our Lash Lift Infusion—a multi-step treatment built around lash health. Every appointment starts with a personalized consultation and includes not just the lift and tint, but also peptide-infused deep conditioning masks, pH balancing, and a sealing step to lock in results.
The best part? All those nourishing extras are included—because your lash health always comes first.
Over time, you’ll notice lashes that aren’t just lifted, but also stronger, thicker, and healthier.
What is the difference between a lash conditioner and lash serum?
A lash serum is designed to lengthen your lashes by working on the hair bulb. It’s applied along the lash line with a liner brush and helps encourage natural lash growth. Popular brands include Revive 7, Adoreyes, and The Ordinary Multipeptide Serum.
On the other hand, a lash conditioner is all about hydration and regeneration, especially after a lash lift. Just like you wouldn't skip conditioning your hair after a dye job, you shouldn’t skip hydrating your lashes after a lift. The conditioner is applied directly to the lashes with a mascara wand, helping to nourish and strengthen them, while also prolonging the lift and preventing your tint from fading.
Lash conditioners are highly recommended for daily use and can be purchased during your appointment if you’d like.
